BOLZONI GROUP OPENS NEW FACTORY IN FINLAND We have the pleasure of announcing that AURAMO OY - our Finnish subsidiary and production plant - has moved to new headquarters in the industrial area of Järvenpää, 40 km north of Helsinki. Built on an area of 5.500 sq.m., the factory is dedicated to the manufacturing of an extensive range of forest handling attachments for efficient and damage-free handling.

Bolzoni Auramo Canada has taken an important step in strengthening its position on the Canadian market, with the opening of new premises in Mississauga, Toronto Area. Forklift truck attachment manufacturer Bolzoni appointed a new distributor in Saudi Arabia. After several years of business directly handled by the headquarters in Italy, it has been decided to create a local presence in this market, potentially very important for future growth.

The product ranges of both brands will be distributed throughout the entire French territory by BOLZONI Sarl, a company born from the merger of BOLZONI AURAMO Sarl, 57600 Forbach, and MEYER Sarl 91620 Nozay.

Starting from 8th November 2012 BOLZONI AURAMO and MEYER join forces in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. The product ranges of both brands will now jointly be distributed through the Bolzoni Group operation based in Helmond, Bolzoni Auramo BV, offering highly qualified consultancy for the optimum logistics solutions for customer material handling applications.

The Bolzoni Group has won the KION SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR award for 2012. The award was presented to Roberto Scotti, Bolzoni's CEO by Otmar Hauck, Chief Operating Officer of KION Group and Linde Material Handling GmbH, during the KION SUPPLIER OF THE YEAR ceremony held on September 6th in Wiesbaden, Germany, attended by representatives of the main KION suppliers.

The Bolzoni Group boost its fork production capacity with the new plant located in Longhua Town, Jing County, Hebei, 250 km south west of Beijing. On May 25th Bolzoni Huaxin Co. Ltd. was inaugurated with an official Opening ceremony attended by the local and district government officials together with approx. 400 national and international guests.

In the 1990s Canada was the largest exporter in the world of forest products amounting to 25 million tons. Following the increasing demand of Canadian paper mills and printing companies for damage free handling solutions, in 1992 the Finnish forest products manufacturer Auramo decided to establish a new company Auramo Ltd in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, a region accounting for the largest share of total paper production. In 2001, Italian Bolzoni acquired Finnish Auramo and later the Canadian subsidiary changed its name to Bolzoni Auramo Canada Ltd, further extending its range of lift truck attachments.

In Shanghai on 22nd October the final completion was given to the execution of the contract whereby the Tiger Group of Taiwan acquires from Bolzoni SpA a 20% share in Bolzoni Holding Hong Kong, for a value of about 2 million euros in cash, with a total subscription in share capital increase, to be employed to pursue the development plans already set up in China by the Bolzoni Group.

After several years of business activity directly handled by the head quarter in Italy, it has been decided to create a local presence on these markets, potentially very important for the near future. Bolzoni Auramo signed a dealership agreement with the company RFA Industries Pte. Ltd., in Singapore managed by Mr. John Chia.

Emilio Bolzoni, Chairman of Bolzoni S.p.A., has been appointed President of Confindustria (*) Piacenza. The nomination was made official on June 29 during the annual meeting of the Industrialists of Piacenza. The program presented by Emilio Bolzoni for his two-years presidency is focused on four main challenges: manufacturing industry, role of young people, Expo 2015, connection to Milan.

The Bolzoni Group enters the China market of forks for lift trucks. Joint venture contract signed with Chinese company Hebei Jing County Huaxin Forks Co.Ltd ("Huaxin"), leader in the production of forks for lift trucks, for the constitution of a new company called Bolzoni Huaxin.

The new dedicated manufacturing plant of 2700 square meters in Casoni di Gariga, Piacenza, Italy has started the production of forks for lift trucks, and other material handling machines.

BOLZONI S.p.A.: the 100% acquisition of Meyer has been concluded, the second manufacturer in Germany for lift truck attachments and the fourth worldwide. Thanks to this operation Bolzoni increases its turnover by approximately 30% and considerably strengthens its leadership in Europe.
